Cheshire, CT October 1, 2008: Medacist Solutions Group today announced that it has reached an agreement with Pandora Data Systems settling all patent infringement claims.
Medacist Solutions Group has granted Pandora Data Systems a license to patent rights associated with Medacist Solution Group’s U.S. Patent No. 6,842,736, entitled "Drug Auditing Method and System".
To complement its investment in new technology, Medacist is committed to protecting its cutting edge technology by seeking new patents and obtaining new licensees through active enforcement of its existing patent portfolio. Patent law provides protection against companies and individuals that make, use, offer to sell, or sell an infringing product. If the infringement is considered willful or intentional, then damages may be trebled and attorneys’ fees awarded.
