 Cheshire, CT September 10, 2007: Medacist Solutions Group (Medacist) today announced that it
has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Pandora Data Systems in United States District Court
in Connecticut. Medacist asserts that Pandora Data Systems has willfully infringed and continues to infringe on
Medacist’s U.S. Patent No. 6,842,736 entitled “Drug Auditing Method and System”. Medacist’s
patent was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a method and system for
auditing drug usage and distribution within a healthcare facility.
